I wanted to share a little more about myself and my approach to therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a graduate certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work, providing outpatient psychotherapy for adults and young adults.
My work is grounded in trauma‑informed, collaborative care and is oriented toward helping people navigate stress, life transitions, and longer‑standing emotional patterns. Gem City Mental Wellness is intentionally structured as a community‑based practice. While much of the mental health landscape in Laramie is campus‑centered, my practice is rooted in serving adults who live and work in the broader Laramie area, including West Laramie and surrounding communities, as well as Jackson County, Colorado.
I work with individuals who are looking for thoughtful, paced therapy that respects both their experiences and their autonomy. My approach emphasizes clarity, curiosity, and building skills that support long‑term stability rather than short‑term fixes. In addition to supporting adults from the broader Laramie community, I have experience working with veterans and adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities. I approach this work with attention to pacing, structure, and respect for individual autonomy within complex systems.

How I Work: A Hybrid Model
My practice operates using a hybrid model of care, combining telehealth with in‑person psychotherapy.
- Outpatient psychotherapy provided by scheduled appointment
- Telehealth services available to clients in Wyoming and Colorado
- In‑person sessions available in Laramie on a limited weekly basis
- A collaborative, paced approach to therapy
In‑person appointments are intentionally scheduled in advance and are part of a structured, appointment‑based practice. This practice does not offer walk‑in or crisis services.
Billing & Payments
Billing, insurance participation, and payment arrangements are reviewed during the intake process and tailored to each client’s circumstances. When using insurance, coverage and benefits are typically verified in advance to help reduce the risk of unexpected costs.
The practice is currently credentialed with select insurers, and available options can be discussed during the intake and scheduling process.
Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Secure payment links or invoices are provided directly to clients following scheduling via a secure messaging platform.
